My name is Jose Huizar and I was born in Los Angeles and raised in Watts. My father nickname me Burro as a kid because I was very stubborn and didn't listen and I was very travieso. At the age of six, I began sewing and that  was the only thing that kept me out of trouble.  

As my life progressed, I stop designing for many years. The challenging times we faced in 2020 brought me back to designing. I turned my parents patio into my studio. I began designing as it gave me peace and calm during these difficult times, and as a result pushed me back to pursue my dreams as a designer. 

I carefully inspect all fabrics and designs and focus on ensuring they look and fit perfectly. All designs are cut by me and made in Los Angeles.

Today I'm proud to introduce my brand Bad Burro by Huizar. My goal is to make everyone feel sexy and confident in their own skin and bringing that Bad Burro out of you.
